Yesterday was the day for market. Sir Trevor had given his love extra pennies, so she could indulge in purchasing a new gown or two, and ribbons for her hair.
It was a most relaxing for our Lady, as the day before had been most stressful. Not even a visit to her favourite salon Hairven, had been able to soothe her troubled brow. Truth be told, trying on new gowns and blouses, pumps for her feet and choosing bright ribbons for her hair, was just the perfect remedy for her.
Paying for her purchases, she realised how well Sir Trevor knew her, for this time he did not bid her to hasten back to the castle, instead he urged her to take her time and to enjoy herself.
On her return to castle, she pirouetted in front of her Love. Showing off her latest acquisitions. In her bag there was also a birthday gift for his mother, the Dowager Dame Edwina. It was sleepwear perfect for the hot Summer nights and in a style suited to her. It went without saying that Lady Cheryl had not forgotten her Knight either. Out of the bag she pulled a new bathing hose and a new cloth of softest cotton to dry himself when next he went to bathe in the mote.
